CHEEKY

When Tulie was born she was awesome!!! Then she got bigger.  And harder.  And supper hard.  And I didn't like her very much.  And I don't think she liked me very much.  Tulie was a screamer and a crier and so crazy stubborn.  Her communication skills were a little lacking for her age and that did not help the situation.  Tulie was a sneaky sneaky monster.  She got into everything, paint, toothpaste, powder, cream cheese, poop, everything.  But now, wow, now.  She is just the shit!! She is silly and kind and forgiving and shy and outgoing all at once.  CHEEKY is a word known to describe her.  And  I adore her.  Things still come more slowly for her.  She does't learn as quickly as the other children her age and her social skills are a little quirky ~ those things are all jellybeans.  This girl is magic.  And I am so grateful God sent this little munchkin to our family.  To teach us patience, but also how to be silly, how to enjoy the simple and how to love.

Lake Erie family pictures plus some Locks of Love cutting

 This weekend was awesome!  We gathered the troops and off we went to lake Erie.  Actually We hit Lake Erie right after Tulie got her hair cut for Locks of love.  10 inches!  And she did great! She loves it and can't stop looking at herself in the mirror.  Back to the lake.  It was wonderful!  However I think Logan and I are kite illiterate.  No really, we have owned a half dozen kites and not one of them have been flown.  Not for lack of trying we just can't seem to get them up in the air.  So we tried with this lovely butterfly kite and we tried and we tried and then we quite.  Not to worry we then walked the beach looking for seashells and finding hoards of dead fish.  Twas a grand afternoon!

The day Daria and I did her pictures was the first sunny day we had had in a few weeks.  We had a fun time playing in the warm sun.  Her dog even stopped by for a bit.  What a spunky girl she is.  Daria, not the dog.  We talked about boys, her travels and growing up as a tag along to her older siblings.  Turns out we both watched our fair share of scary movies before we developmentally should have, thanks to our older sibs.   Maybe that is why I can't even handle the advertisements.  I get scared and close my eyes.

I would pay a LOT to have this little boys hair!!!  Isn't he the cutest thing?  He was an angel the whole shoot.  If only every child were loved as much as this little guy the world would be a different place.  

Dustin- Senior pictures down town Cleveland

This is Dustin, he is a drama geek!  I am allowed to say that because I was a drama geek back in the day too.  He is currently volentearing his acting/scare services at a haunted house that raises money for a charity that helps kids with heart defects.   He dances, is a choriographer, is an actor and last but not least he sails a sail boat!! How cool is that.  Yeah, I have never even set foot on a sail boat until this photo shoot.  Congrats Dustin. 

Wedding books!

Wedding, senior, family, children books.  These are three VERY uniquely distinctive styles.  Some of them you will love, some might not be your favorite and that is okay.  Don't forget we can also do a very simple layout with a solid color, your choice of corse, with sharp frames for your images.  So if you are getting wed or want a cool way to display your images in a rocking coffee table book,  we can make something work for you I am sure.  However as these templates can be slightly modified, I did NOT design them so  it best to mess with them as little as possible!

I am always inspired by people that can design, sew, and create.  I love photographing  these girls because I am always in awe of their talent!!!  I swear in my attempt to have color and pattern in my wardrobe, I leave my house half the time looking like a clown.  However, my two year old always tells me that I look pretty.  You can't have it all I guess. But if I had to choose between actually having good style or having a two year old tell me that I look cute in my pajamas, I pick the two year old!!

This girl has such talent!! I keep telling her we should make her a modeling portfolio… but I guess she has other aspirations.  She is an artist.   I walked into this apartment with my jaws open. The light was beautiful, the girls fabelous, the products amazing. Thanks for arranging such a lovely shoot T&T.
